Karma is real

Hello friends,  today I would like to share with you an incident wherein I will demonstrate how much a positive behaviour can influence your day to day life.

It was a sunday afternoon and I was visiting the temple after a very long time. I dont remember now but my mom had instructed me to put a 500 rupee note in the donation box.  For those of you unfamiliar with what a donation box in a temple looks like it looks like this. 

Now it so happened that at that particular day itself I was in a dire need of 300 rupees for contribution towards a friend's birthday present so I had 5 rupees in my pocket which I very painstakingly put in this box and apologising to the almighty god to forgive me for this greedy and selfish act of mine. Please people dont judge me :)

As I was about to leave the area, an old gentleman probably in mid seventies asked me to put a 500 rupee note in the donation box.  With a heavy heart and feeling of guilt I put his 500 rupee note in the donation box. 

Just as I was wearing my slippers, I started conversing with the old man

Me:  that was a nice thing you did, donating 500 rupees to charity, not everyone is so positive towards charity you know?

Old man:  Son, it was not my 500 rupees but rather your 500 rupee note which fell from your pocket. I simply handed it out to you, you put in the donation box without thinking twice.

Trust me friends, you may be an atheist, you may not believe in God one bit but if such an incident happens with you, You begin to accept the fact that God works in the most myriad of ways imaginable to you. A person will always get what he deserves and this my dear friends is the ultimate truth of life.
